Keith heads Customer Engineering at Expo, helping engineering teams large and small get the most out of Expo open source tools and services. He was pretty much always interested in developing for the small screen, starting with graphing calculators, Windows Mobile industrial scanners, J2ME, and Cordova before falling in love with React Native. When he’s not building Expo apps, telling Claude to build Expo apps, or talking to fellow developers about building Expo apps, you might find Keith zipping through busy Cleveland streets on his bicycle, playing retro video games, or in the kitchen breaking new ground in the field of alternative omelette fillings. Developer Success Engineer Expo
Jacob began web programming as a hobby before landing his first developer job at a software company in Ecuador, where he was living at the time. He later moved back home to Sweden and joined a small consultancy, working on web apps before moving into mobile development with React Native and Expo. After several years of using Expo to build apps, he joined the company in 2025 as a Developer Success Engineer. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, coffee, karate, and spending time with family and friends. Jacob empezó a programar para la web como pasatiempo, hasta que consiguió su primera chamba de desarrollador en una empresa de software en Ecuador, donde vivía en ese entonces. Después volvió a casa, a Suecia, y entró a una consultoría pequeña, trabajando en apps web antes de pasarse al desarrollo móvil con React Native y Expo. Tras varios años de usar Expo para crear apps, en 2025 se unió a la empresa como Developer Success Engineer. Fuera del trabajo, disfruta viajar, el café, el karate y pasar tiempo con familia y amigos.
